GENERAL
- Why should I track my website statistics?
- There are many good reasons to track your website statistics, not the least of which is you could be losing sales. If customers matter, then metrics matter.
Marketing requires knowing the effectiveness of your campaigns and web statistics provides the nessecary tracking to measure your effectiveness.
TECHNICAL
- Where do I find the HTML code that I need to put into my web pages?
- After you login into your FavorStats account go to Setup->Get Tracking Script. The resulting page will show you the code that needs to be inserted on your pages.
There is also a program available to help add the tracking script to your web pages automatically.
How do I insert the HTML code into my web pages?
- Whoever built your website will know how to do this. If you have no idea what HTML even is you can take a look at htmlgoodies.com for some excellent tutorials. Of course, if you still need help please contact support and we can arrange to insert the code for you.
Do I need to put the code on every page of my website?
- Yes. In order to take advantage of the full power of FavorStats you should insert the code on every page of your website. We understand that this can be tedious if you have a very large site, but it will be well worth the effort.
For this reason we provide a software utility to add the FavorStats tracking script to all of your web pages. If your web site is dynamic you may be able to modify your footer and have the script added to all of your pages.
TRIAL PERIOD/BILLING
- Who is FavorWare, and why does it show up on my credit card statement?
- FavorWare operates the FavorStats web statistic service. FavorWare is the company behind several other online services and all of our billing is done through our owner FavorWare.
My trial period is about to end. When I enter my credit card information, when will I be charged?
- Your credit card will only be charged at the end of your trial period.
Do I lose any of the web statistics already collected when I end my trial period?
- No. Your account will be put on hold until your payment information has been updated.
How do I set my account active and end the trial period?
- During the trial period, go to Account Info and click on the Billing/Usage tab. Click on the link, "Set my account live".
Is the monthly FavorStats service fee charged in advance?
- No. FavorStats is billed according to usage. You pay for what you use and the charges are related to the number of page views for people visiting your web site during the month.
Can I get a refund if I Cancel my account before the end of my monthly billing cycle?
- Unfortunately no. However we will discontinue billing you and delete your account.
How do I enter or change my credit card information?
- Go to Account Info and look for Automatic Payment Info. Click on the link to the right called, Click Here to Change. You will be asked to enter your password and you're your credit card information.
- My account is inactive. Can I still track web statistics?
- No. Tracking is terminated once the account is put on hold. Account holds apply to trial accounts which have expired or when payment can not be collected.
I want to Cancel my account. What do I do?
- Send an email to support@favorstats.com with your account user name and that you want to cancel your account.
